Consent for Matchbox Talent to hold your details and put you forward for roles. You can withdraw at any time. Fields marked * are required.

When to use this form: if you applied through our website, the checkbox on the application form already covers this. Sign this form if you're applying another way, or if you'd like a formal written record of your consent.

02What You Consent To

By signing below, you agree that Matchbox Talent may:

Keep your resume, work history, qualifications, and contact details. We may also keep notes from our conversations with you.
Share your details with potential employers, so we can find you a role. We'll always check with you before we share anything.
Contact you by email or phone about roles that might suit you.
Contact the referees you nominate, to confirm your employment history and performance.
Store your documents securely. We use Google, Cloudflare, and Mailbux. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.

03Your Rights

This is voluntary. You don't have to give us any of this information. But without it, we can't help you find a role.
You can withdraw at any time. Email talent@matchboxtalent.com.au and we'll stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
You can see what we have. Ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
You can complain. If you think we've mishandled your information, you can contact the OAIC (the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner). Visit oaic.gov.au or call 1300 363 992.
You will never be charged a fee. Not for being introduced, placed, or employed.

04How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep candidate records for 2 years from our last contact with you. After that, we delete them. If you want us to hold them longer, just ask.

05About AI Tools

How we use AI

We may use AI tools to help review applications. Before we do, we remove your name, email, and phone number. We check what we send to strip out other identifying details where we can, but a resume can still contain some.

AI doesn't make any decisions. Every application is read and decided by a person. AI is a reading aid, not a screener.

If you'd rather we didn't use AI for your application, email talent@matchboxtalent.com.au. It won't count against you.
