Employer How much does it cost?

$750 engagement fee to start. Then a fixed placement fee when you hire: $2,900 for a permanent role. Sourcing Only is $1,900. Part-time is pro-rata by hours, and fixed-term is tiered by contract length.

No percentage-of-salary. No ongoing fees. No surprises.

Employer What if the hire doesn't work out?

You're covered by a 90-day replacement guarantee from the candidate's start date. If they leave or are let go for an acceptable reason, we run a free replacement search.

Employer What's the payment timeline?

14 days from invoice. The $100 Early Bird Credit applies when the engagement fee is paid within 48 hours of receiving your proposal. Reminders on Day 15 and Day 21. From Day 22, 2% per month interest applies and the guarantee is paused until payment clears.

Employer Do you do labour hire or staff leasing?

No. Matchbox Talent does direct recruitment only. For staff leasing, we refer clients to our partner TeamDev360.

Candidate Do I need an account?

No. One form, no login, no re-keying. Apply in under three minutes and get on with your day.

Candidate Will I hear back?

Yes. Every applicant hears back within 24 business hours. If you're shortlisted, we call you. If not, we tell you why, not a generic rejection.

Candidate Does it cost me anything?

No, never. Employers pay us, not you. Any recruiter who asks a candidate to pay is one you should walk away from.

General Are you GST registered?

Not currently. All pricing shown is exclusive of GST because there isn't any. We're monitoring the $75,000 threshold and will update if that changes.

General Who sees my information?

Authorised Matchbox Talent personnel only. Your resume goes into a restricted Drive folder. We don't share it with an employer without your consent. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
